Questions about this service
What is investigative support and who is it for?
Investigative support is white-label investigative capacity for law firms, other investigation agencies, insurers, insolvency trustees, and legal departments. NCRB carries out defined pieces of research under your direction: OSINT, asset tracing, crypto tracing, evidence preservation, and source verification. You keep the client relationship; we deliver the work.
Can NCRB act as an independent expert on blockchain or OSINT?
We prepare substantiated investigation reports and statements that are submitted in proceedings, and we explain them on request. Whether NCRB can act as an expert in a specific case is assessed per case together with your counsel, also on the basis of independence and the court's requirements.
Does NCRB provide a second opinion on another agency's report?
Yes. We test the method, sources, and conclusions of an existing OSINT or blockchain report and document where it convinces and where it falls short. This is regularly requested as counter-expertise in crypto and fraud cases.
How does collaboration with a law firm work?
After a conflict check and intake you receive a defined scope, timeline, and fixed price or cost ceiling. The lead investigator is your single point of contact; significant findings are flagged immediately. Reporting in your house style or anonymized is possible. See also our page for law firms.
Does NCRB work under confidentiality?
Yes. Confidentiality is the basis of our work and is contractually agreed. We operate under our Wpbr licence (POB 1737), the GDPR, and the Dutch privacy code of conduct; files are retained no longer than necessary.
Can NCRB provide capacity on a structural basis?
Yes, from single assignments to a standing arrangement with agreed turnaround times and rates. Contact us to discuss a partnership.
