1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website ncrb.nl (“Website”) and any engagement of the services provided by NCRB (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. About NCRB
NCRB is a private investigation and intelligence firm registered in the Netherlands. Our services are subject to Dutch law and the regulations governing private investigations in the Netherlands, including the Wet particuliere beveiligingsorganisaties en recherchebureaus (Wpbr).
We operate under the oversight of the relevant Dutch regulatory authorities and hold the licence required for the lawful conduct of private investigative activities.
3. Website Use
The content published on this Website is provided for general informational purposes only. While we make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information presented is accurate and up to date, we do not warrant or guarantee that all content on the Website is complete, current, or free from error.
Nothing on this Website constitutes legal advice, professional advice, or a recommendation to take or refrain from taking any specific action.
You agree not to use this Website for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality.
4. Engagement Terms
All investigative and consulting services provided by NCRB are governed by separate written engagement agreements. These engagement agreements will set out the specific terms applicable to your matter, including:
- The scope of work and specific investigative objectives
- Deliverables, reporting format, and timelines
- Fee structure, payment terms, and expense policies
- Confidentiality obligations and data handling procedures
- Limitations of liability specific to the engagement
No contract for investigative services exists between you and NCRB until a written engagement agreement has been signed by both parties.
Right of withdrawal (consumer clients)
If you are a consumer and conclude the engagement at a distance (for example by email), you may withdraw within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason, by an unambiguous statement to info@ncrb.nl. If you expressly ask us to start within that period, you pay a proportionate part of the agreed fee for work already performed. If the engagement has been fully performed within that period at your express request and you have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal on full performance, the right lapses.
